# Agent Skill

> Install the public Ukiyo compute Skill for your agent.

Current Skill: **1.0.1**, with the CLI-first autonomous workflow. It is a publicly downloadable `SKILL.md`, not a hosted service or npm package. The current executable client is [CLI 0.2.2](/connect/cli); [action MCP 0.2.0](/connect/mcp) is equivalent.

## Install

Download the Skill and verify its checksum against [latest.json](https://u-kiyo.ai/releases/latest.json). Stop if verification fails. On Linux without `shasum`, use `sha256sum -c -`.

Install the current CLI using its checksum-verified instructions, then download the Skill:

```bash theme={null}
mkdir -p ~/.ukiyo/ukiyo-compute && cd ~/.ukiyo/ukiyo-compute
curl -fsSLO https://u-kiyo.ai/releases/skill/1.0.1/ukiyo-compute/SKILL.md
echo "719fca36ec699aecd30f391c307703a9935aa56f510f8cc8803546f06c37fddf  SKILL.md" | shasum -a 256 -c -
```

Add the downloaded `ukiyo-compute` directory to your agent client's supported skill location. Skill registration differs by client; follow that client's instructions. No legacy shell wrapper is required by Skill 1.0.1.

For a new account, use `ukiyo signup --json`; it stores the scoped credential securely. `UKIYO_API_URL` defaults to `https://pay.u-kiyo.ai`.

## Commands

* The Skill teaches `signup → balance → topup link → offers → rent → ACTIVE → exec → inspect → terminate → verify`.
* Use CLI `--json`, preserve the same rental intent and idempotency key, and wait for ACTIVE.
* Prefer CLI `exec` or MCP `run_command`, which keep private keys out of the transcript.

The agent executes through the existing CLI, MCP or API, not a separate Skill backend. After the one funding handoff, authorized rentals require no Telegram navigation or per-rental human approval.

Respect task authorization and spending limits, terminate after the workload, and verify the terminal state. Never disclose tokens or private keys. Prices use minor units; read [live pricing](/get-started/pricing). For expiry, use the deployment's actual end time, not a guessed timer.
