Wait until the deployment is active and its access details are ready. Do not guess the username, host, or port.

Private-key access

Save the supplied key attachment securely. On macOS or Linux, replace each example value with the details you received:
Windows OpenSSH can use the same ssh -i command; restrict the key file’s permissions to your own account. If the supplied access details use a password instead, connect with ssh -p PORT USERNAME@HOST and enter it at the prompt. Never put a password in a shell command or screenshot.

Host verification

Verify an unfamiliar host fingerprint through a trusted channel before accepting it. A host-key-change warning can indicate a different machine or interception. Do not disable host-key checking to get past it.

Before the rental ends

Copy results to storage you control. For key-based access:
scp uses uppercase -P for the port. See common errors if connecting fails.
